A project of DonorsChoose.org, VotersChoose was an online straw poll of real and fantasy Presidential candidates. Votes equalled dollars for projects in public school classrooms across the country.
Englin Consulting conceptualized the project, devised the strategy, and hit the ground to get the word out. Stephen Colbert took notice, and VotersChoose raised more than a quarter of a million dollars from thousands of new donors in a matter of weeks.
